Being conscious of security in this big city, I always remember to lock the door every time I leave the house. What is unfortunate is that I tend to forget my keys inside the room. In most cases, I can rely on my housemates to open the door for me once I get back from work.
This weekend was a disaster. My housemates went to a Southern province for a few days. I had that security blunder again last Saturday evening. With no locksmith available, I had to spend an evening in a 24-hour internet cafe.
It was an unfortunate event. On the bright side, the computer that I rented for 9 hours had many movies saved in its hard drive. That disastrous evening became an opportunity for a movie marathon. I hired a locksmith the following morning to open the door for me. My fixation with security may be good, but my carelessness seems to offset it.
